Initial Consultation:

Initial consultation to understand the clients goals, objectives, and vision for the video project.

 

Project Planning:

Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.

Storyboarding and Visual Conceptualisation (if applicable):

Create storyboards to visually represent each scene of the video, helping clients visualise the final product.

Develop a visual concept that aligns with the client's brand and message, incorporating elements such as colour schemes, imagery, and style.

Equipment and Technology Recommendations (if applicable):

Advise clients on the best equipment and technology needed for the production based on the project's requirements and budget constraints.

FILMING

Set Up:

Arrive at the filming location and set up all equipment. Test cameras, lighting, and audio to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

Directing:

If there are actors or participants, work with them to ensure they understand their roles and the desired tone of the video. Direct scenes according to the storyboard and script.

Filming:

Begin capturing footage. Pay attention to framing, composition, and lighting to achieve the desired visual quality.

Multiple Takes:

Perform multiple takes if necessary to ensure you have sufficient options during the editing process.

Audio Capture:

Monitor and record high-quality audio, ensuring that dialogue is clear and free of background noise.

B-Roll Footage:

Capture additional footage, known as B-roll, to enhance the video during the editing phase. B-roll often includes cutaway shots, establishing shots, or close-ups.

POST PRODUCTION

Editing:

  • Use video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) to assemble the footage according to the plan/clients intention. Edit for pacing, continuity, and overall flow.

Color Correction and Grading:

  • Enhance the visual aesthetics of the video through colour correction and grading. Adjust brightness, contrast, and colour balance to achieve a consistent and appealing look.

Audio Editing:

  • Fine-tune audio, including dialogue, voiceovers, and ambient sounds. Ensure that the audio is clear, free of background noise, and appropriately balanced.

Graphics and Titles:

  • Incorporate any necessary graphics, titles, subtitles, and overlays. Ensure that all on-screen text aligns with the client's branding and messaging guidelines

Music and Sound Design:

  • Integrate background music or sound design elements to enhance the overall viewing experience. Ensure that the audio elements complement the mood and message of the video.

Client Review and Feedback:

  • Share a draft of the edited video with the client for feedback. We encourage open communication to address any specific changes or revisions they may request.

Revisions:

  • Incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions to the video. 

Final Export:

  • Export the final edited video in the appropriate format and resolution. Confirm that the video meets any technical specifications outlined by the client or the platforms where it will be shared.

Delivery:

  • Provide the client with the final video files. Ensure that the client receives the video in the desired format and that it can be easily shared on their chosen platforms.
