Arrive at the filming location and set up all equipment. Test cameras, lighting, and audio to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
If there are actors or participants, work with them to ensure they understand their roles and the desired tone of the video. Direct scenes according to the storyboard and script.
Begin capturing footage according to the script and storyboard. Pay attention to framing, composition, and lighting to achieve the desired visual quality.
Perform multiple takes if necessary to ensure you have sufficient options during the editing process.
Monitor and record high-quality audio, ensuring that dialogue is clear and free of background noise.
Capture additional footage, known as B-roll, to enhance the video during the editing phase. B-roll often includes cutaway shots, establishing shots, or close-ups.
Use video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) to assemble the footage according to the plan/clients intention. Edit for pacing, continuity, and overall flow.
Color Correction and Grading:
Enhance and standardise the visual aesthetics of the video through color correction and grading. Adjust brightness, contrast, and color balance to achieve a consistent and appealing look.
Fine-tune audio elements, including dialogue, voiceovers, and ambient sounds. Ensure that the audio is clear, free of background noise, and appropriately balanced.
Graphics and Titles:
Incorporate any necessary graphics, titles, subtitles, and overlays. Ensure that all on-screen text aligns with the client's branding and messaging guidelines.
Transitions and Effects:
Add transitions between scenes and apply visual effects as needed. Be mindful of the client's preferences and the overall tone of the video.
Music and Sound Design:
Integrate background music or sound design elements to enhance the overall viewing experience. Ensure that the audio elements complement the mood and message of the video.
Client Review and Feedback:
Share a draft of the edited video with the client for feedback. We encourage open communication to address any specific changes or revisions they may request.
Incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions to the video. Iterative reviews may be required to ensure the final product aligns with the client's vision.
Export the final edited video in the appropriate format and resolution. Confirm that the video meets any technical specifications outlined by the client or the platforms where it will be shared.
Provide the client with the final video files. Ensure that the client receives the video in the desired format and that it can be easily shared on their chosen platforms.
Archive project files, raw footage, and final exports for future reference or potential re-edits. This step is crucial for maintaining a record of the project and facilitating any future updates.
